Repair or Replacement Policy: Repairs are prioritized. If repair is impossible or economically impractical, a comparable replacement product or monetary credit toward a new purchase will be provided. Comparable products will have similar features, though not necessarily the same original purchase price due to technological advancements and market changes.


How to Start the Repair or Replacement Process:

When a product issue is identified:

Step 1: Report the Issue

  • Contact the nearest authorized repair depot or store directly to report the problem.
  • A defect assessment is required, and the assessment fee is fully covered.
  • Provide a photo of the product and serial tag to the store for serial number verification.

Step 2: Work Order Creation

  • A Work Order form will be completed either by the client or store staff.
  • Verify contact details (name, phone, email) are accurate and match purchase records.
  • The Work Order will then be processed internally.

Step 3: Product Transportation

  • Clients are responsible for transporting the product to the authorized repair depot.
  • If transportation is not possible, clients should bring the product to the store for transportation assistance.
  • Removal costs (e.g., uninstalling mounted TVs) are not covered.

Step 4: Repair Approval

  • The authorized repair depot will provide a repair quote requiring internal approval.
  • Unauthorized approvals made directly with the repair depot will result in the client assuming all related costs.

Step 5: Repair or Replacement

  • Repairs will proceed upon approval, or if repairs are deemed uneconomical, clients will be offered either a monetary credit or a comparable replacement product.
  • You can cancel your Andres Protection Plan within 30 days of purchase for a full refund, provided no claims have been made.
  • No refunds will be issued after 30 days or if any claims have been filed.

Important Terms & Conditions:

General Coverage Terms:

  • The Andres Protection Plan begins on the date of purchase, running concurrently with and subject to the manufacturer's original warranty terms, which take precedence during any overlap.
  • This protection plan is exclusively for residential use. Commercial or rental use requires specific commercial coverage at triple the residential rate.
  • Coverage applies only to defects in materials or workmanship under normal, personal use.
  • Plan registration is automatic upon completion of purchase invoicing; no separate registration is required.
  • The Andres Protection Plan is non-renewable after the initial coverage period.
  • Cancellation within 30 days of purchase is eligible for a full refund if no claims have been filed. After 30 days or if claims have been filed, refunds will not be provided.

Exclusions:

  • If a client relocates more than 60 kilometers from an authorized repair depot, transportation costs to and from the nearest authorized depot become the client's responsibility.
  • Accidental damage, improper handling, misuse, neglect, vandalism, unauthorized modifications, or damage from improper installation.
  • Environmental damage including floods, fires, earthquakes, lightning strikes, and other natural disasters.
  • Cosmetic damages like scratches, dents, discoloration, or superficial imperfections not affecting functionality.
  • Consumables and wearable items including batteries, bulbs, remote controls, cables, projector lamps, lenses, ink cartridges, and toner.
  • Software-related issues such as viruses, malware, data recovery, data loss, corrupted operating systems, or software incompatibilities.

Limitations and Liability:

  • Coverage is limited to the original product purchase price and ends upon reaching this limit or expiration of the coverage period.
  • Regular maintenance, cleaning, preventive upkeep, calibration, and normal wear-and-tear are not included.
  • Temporary replacement products during repair periods are not provided.
  • Andres Electronics Experts holds no liability for indirect or consequential damages resulting from product failures or downtime.
