5 Excellent picture!

Have had this tv for a few months now. Easy to setup. Easy to use. Do not use the smart tv part everyday but is easy to use when called upon.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

3 Great picture quality. But UI sucks.

The picture looks amazing and the tv was easy to set up. but the Samsung TV user interface really needs some work. 1. there are too many features that clog up the navigation that just can't be turned off - and "Ads" in the navbar that I don't want. 2. changing the source requires WAY too many button presses. 3. changing the volume always add a very ugly overlay on your screen that really breaks immersion in the program you are watching. It also adds NO INFO to the volume-changing process. It doesn't tell you what the volume is, whether you are increasing or decreasing it... it just puts a GIANT 'plus' and 'minus' symbol and text that does/says nothing. There are no options to disable this. 4. The remote control has several buttons that seemingly have NO USE. colors? for what? I have no idea. There are dedicated buttons for Netflix, Amazon, and Hulu - if I had all three that would be fine but I don't. You can't even get Hulu in canada. would be great to be able to customize those. 5. the remote has a solar panel to charge it - ON THE BOTTOM. This is apple-put-the-charger-on-the-bottom-of-the-mouse level of dumb. 6. there are no side HDMI ports. if you want to plug something in temporarily. sorry, you have to TAKE THE TV OFF YOUR WALL to get to the only ports.

3 Will not recommend

Picture quality is good but strangely brightness, colors, quality was great on 65 inch then I decided to take get 75 inch now I don't find it good enough. Brightness disappoints when needed most somehow high quality stuff stuffs don't look good on this forget about upscaling. my old $800 TV did a better job in upscaling. Now coming to actual problem, it runs on Tizen OS, can't install many apps which I used on daily basis on my old TV. Then you can't install VPN or install app from any other country app store. Why would I pay $4000 and be stuck with these limitations. Then it doesn't has dolby vision.

3 Won't connect to Disney+

There seems to be no way to connect to Disney plus. The codes that the TV generates are never accepted by the Disney site. Other than that, connecting to other apps was seamless. Clarity is excellent.

4 TV is great but a few issues.

I've had this TV for about 6 months and it works great. The remote took some getting used to. What I don't like is Samsung's own app software. Some stuff available to all other android machines is not on Samsung's version. A pain. Other than that the picture quality is excellent, especially for all these new shows shot in the dark.

4 Good TV but…

Had the tv about a month and had it calibrated this week. The default picture was too bright but the calibration produced a great picture. However, after the procedure we noticed three small grey circles in a row near the bottom of the screen. I think that the original picture was so bright we didn’t notice. How do I contact the company for service.

5 Great bright picture and good side view

I bought this TV because I wanted better viewing angles. Having had it for 4 months, I find that there is no visible colour washout when viewed from about 30 degrees off centre. My previous LCD TV lost most of the colour when not viewed directly. Also the brightness and clarity of this TV is amazing. Definitely worth it.
