1 Do Not Buy - Defective

Purchased the 2020 model (QN55LS03TAFXZC). Main board failure at 12 months and 3 weeks, Samsung declined warranty coverage. Repair cost is CDN$400. You may as well just add the cost of repairs to your life cycle expense. Or maybe buy from a higher quality manufacturer. Never had an experience like this before.

3 Three defective units, looks nice but a hassle.

The short - I have one installed that involved prying the connector port out with a plastic crowbar to get the connector in. It’s mounted and it looks good and seems to work well. The long - ordered a month ago, received installed the mount (took a lot of math as the instructions come with measurements for all the different sizes) and went to install the TV. I could not get the one connect plug to go into the TV. The socket was recessed into the TV so the plug didn’t align. Called bestbuy and the arranged an exchange. Waited two weeks. Got the new one, unboxed ready to mount, try to insert plug, same problem. Call bestbuy and arrange for another exchange. In the meantime I used a trim removal tools for car trim to pry the socket out enough that I could jam another tool behind it to hold it while I attached the connector. It works but is putting a lot of strain on the connector. After another two weeks the next replacement arrives. I no longer have the box and the delivery drivers won’t take the old TV without it but decide they can unpack the new one and use that box. As soon as they open up the new one I see it has the same issue so I refused that delivery. Bestbuy says to contact Samsung so I have a local repair company coming to take a look after they order some parts. So the second TV is up again and working. Still need to work through the settings some but the art mode is nice. Picture quality isn’t as good as my OLED but that was expected. This one fits in better in the living room. Will update after the repair but having mounted and unmounted this TV several times and countless hours on tech support and chat (both bestbuy and Samsung have been fine to deal with) , just to get it sort of plugged in, the best I can do is 3 stars.

1 Stopped working after a year of used

The cable stop working after 5 days of using the tv and 13 months later the ONE CONNECT box stopped working and I need to pay to repair it because the warranty only covers up to 12 months. DON’T BUY THIS TV ... only “12 months” warranty It’s expensive and it would stop working in less than a year!

1 Mounting system is terrible

As an A/V installer for 6 years, whoever designed the new frame mounting system needs to be fired. Why on earth would you make such a convoluted mounting bracket is beyond me. I really hope whoever decided that was the way to go burns in hell.

5 Tv can never be more beautiful than this.

I recently moved to new condo and I wanted to wall-mount Samsung The Frame so bad. My dream came true and when I saw thatin real life, it was literally a piece of art. Airplay 2 feature is also useful, since I use lots of Apple products. :)
