we replaced our previous samsung dryer with this one. the units were similar, from the product description. first disappointment was the flimsiness of the components. for the cost of this unit, i would have expected it to be of the same quality as the last. the knob wobbles and looks cheap and ready to break. swapping the hinges, i discovered one of the bolt holes already stripped out. the plastic covers had a broken tab, so it all but fell off. the sensor dry feature was better on the older unit. this dryer struggles to do its job. i was very disappointed to see the bedding setting was gone. neither normal/very dry nor heavy/very dry will get a comforter even close to being dry. forget rotating it "for even drying." the dryer gives up as soon as it seems to be up to temp.

dryer stops in 5 mintuee of cycle. it didnt ot when i first got it. i cleaned the lent trap and it. customer service says reset by unplugging for 5 minutes. worked for a while. now dryer out of warranty and keeps shutting off.

I have had my Samsung washer and dryer for a couple of months now. This is the smoothest and easiest dryer I have ever used. I would recommend over any other dryer out there. Pricing was reasonable as well. Thank you Samsung for making yet another great electronic piece.

I bought this and matching washer and have been happy with it. Nice variety of settings for the price. Simple to use. The lint screen is a little strange to get lint out of but no big deal. Has great capacity. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a simple dryer, for like a rental, first home, or single person venturing out on their own.
