Bought this dishwasher a few months ago and found you had to use the heavy duty cycle to get dishes clean. Now when it is starting to stink I discover that cleaning the filter entails removing 13 screws and climbing inside the dishwasher to remove! This has got to be the dumbest design I have ever seen! Wish I hadn’t been in a rush to buy and researched this model more

This dishwasher is nothing but garbage. Been dealing with customer service to replace it. Repair men keep coming but it’s just a bad dishwasher

I am joining the other many users and reviewers of this dishwasher posting at 1 star. I too find this dishwasher very disappointing. It does not clean well especially on the top rack. Samsung please re-design this! I am losing faith in your products and will be promoting against your brand unless you do something about this.

I bought this dishwasher 4 years ago and it has given us countless problems. It leaks continuously and several parts have had to be replaced already. The dishes do not get cleaned properly.

A month ago I had to purchase a dishwasher (sight unseen due to the lockdown). The only one in the store in our small town (Leon's, Bancroft) was the 5050. We purchased it and immediately, within a week, tried to return it immediately. The interior capacity is very small, it doesn't get dishes clean unless they are all rinsed, you have to use high heat to get anything clean and there is no filter in the bottom. DON'T BUY THIS MODEL.

I bought this dishwasher last year it has never rinsed properly I have to release by hand to get the food particles off!!! It had no filter to clean when I called for help he told me a technician had to clean the filter!!!!! DO NOT BUY THIS HUNK OF JUN a waste of money and time

I bought this as part of a Samsung kitchen suite and just a month or two after the two year warranty expired, the motor failed! Prior to that, the previously quiet wash began sounding very loud (which was likely the motor going). Additionally, the door stopped popping open after every wash, it only opened sporadically. The features were great...when they worked. Samsung's reputation for quality is not deserved in the case of dishwashers from what I can tell. Buyer beware. Warranty won't help and extended warranty should not be required for a premium product.

DO NOT waste your $$$ Purchased in 8/19 October 2020 lower arm not working. And previously did not clean dishes very good. Had to almost wash the dishes first! And I call for service and of course it’s out of warranty!!!! GARBAGE!!

We purchased 15 months ago. Was good for 1 yr. Started getting louder and louder and louder, then the LC came on There is noooo water leak. Keeps running, beeping, turns itself on. We know have the breaker off. Total dud , reviews show they all are.
