Overview

The P2 PUNCH speakers are flexible upgrades for OEM systems with optional tweeters or for custom upgrades. The P2 convertibles offer true versatility by using them as a coaxial on vehicles equipped with one speaker for a fast drop-in, or a 2-way component on vehicles equipped with a separate tweeter/midrange – like those found in an A-pillar or dash – for enhanced staging and imaging.

COMSOL Multiphysics

COMSOL software analyzes complex physical phenomena (Multiphysics) that uses FEM (Finite Element Method) to analyze structure strength, heat flow, and electromagnetics, while FFT (Fast Fourier Transform) converts the speaker's acoustical output into frequency components to show amplitude across bass, midrange, and treble ranges.

Point Source Alignment

The low-profile tweeter position improves high-frequency dispersion by aligning both voice coils more precisely. In component setups, a phase plug refines sound wave dispersion, enhancing high-frequency response and directional accuracy.

I.L.M. (Interchangeable Locking Mechanism)

The Interchangeable Locking Mechanism gives installers full control over tweeter placement by allowing the speaker to be configured as a coaxial or component, ensuring optimal output in any vehicle. The bayonet-style locking mechanism allows tweeter and phase plug to be quickly interchanged and is engineered to withstand high-frequency vibrations and mechanical shocks typical of automotive environments.

VAST 2.0

The Vertical Attach Surround Technique delivers a 25% increase in cone area, resulting in maximum output and deeper, more impactful bass.VAST 2.0 updates the surround's mounting location from an upside-down "T" shape to a "V" shape to increase the surround-to-frame gluing surface area in the pull-force direction.

Edge Driven Tweeter

The inverted dome tweeter incorporates an edge-driven voice coil, engineered for high-performance audio systems. The dome enhances clarity and precision in high frequencies, while the coil ensures superior power handling and broader sound dispersion. MC3 (Multi Configuration Crossover Chassis)

Allows the crossover to break down into separate units, giving you total freedom to route and wire your setup your way. The crossovers can be positioned independently in specific locations, allowing for flexible installation options. Alternatively, they can be snapped together to form a unified structure and used in one location, providing a seamless and integrated solution.
