Had the tv for a month & still learning all the options. The picture is beautiful & so easy to use. It connects to the net no problem & bluetooth works perfect. I love being able to mirror my phone to the tv, can watch multiple games at once.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

I’ve had three issues with this new TV: 1) HDMI ports 1 to 3 would not fit my cables. I had to use a small screwdriver to push down some small metal prongs in the TV ports, 2) the Samsung OS does not recognize the Apple TV plugged in (says unknown device). No current resolution, tried factory resets on both devices, tried forcing Apple TV in Samsung external device settings, etc 3) the sound would cut when starting a show and required the show to be restarted multiple times. To resolve I had to force the Apple TV to only use stereo sound. I called Samsung customer support and received no assistance of value. Any resolution I used was found through lengthy Google searches. I’ve never had issues like this with my previous Samsung TVs connected to the same external devices. The picture is great and I enjoy the TV but the issues really soured my experience.

Bought this television mostly for gaming on but I also use it for streaming services such as Netflix and Amazon Prime. Overall, I am very pleased with the set and the value it presented at its sale price. The only 'gripe' I have is VRR flicker. It has drastically improved with firmware release 1903 but it still occurs occasionally when the scene lighting changes from dark to light or vice versa. I have seen incremental improvements with each firmware update and hope Samsung will continue to work on eliminating the VRR flicker and this this is the only reason why I rated the television at 4 stars, otherwise, the Q70A would easily merit 5 stars.

Easy to use features. Tiny gripe is that it drops the wifi and you have to make the tv forget your wifi and reset it up. Other than that, it’s a good buy.

I am about a month in with this TV so far. Samsung is really starting to get it right. The connectivity options are fantastic, the picture is great and the streaming services work very well. I would like to see the Tizen software updated to have a more friendly user interface. Have a look at what others are doing with their user interface (Google TV, chromecast, AppleTV, Roku etc.) to have a more integrated experience. It is also quite evident that the Smart TV apps are slower to update/upgrade than other platforms. I use a Google TV dongle to run my television instead of the Tizen features about 85% of the time as the result of the apps being more pleasing to use and the AI features about what I am watching across platforms is much more appealing within the Google TV platform. I should note I don not have a cable subscription service so it is likely more noticeable for me than most. Sound is an issue and cords are an issue. I do not want cords hanging from my wall and do not want to mount a soundbar on my fireplace to ruin the pleasingly smooth aesthetic I currently have. It would be nice if Samsung wither made more powerful sounding speakers in the TV or a nice suite of wireless speakers that can enhance the sound. Picture on the TV is beautiful and crisp. I also wish there were more 60 inch options for televisions.

I bought a qled 70a 65 “ smart tv. It’s a piece of junk would never buy Samsung again. As it won’t download new apps for watching tv. I had to buy a fire stick to watch certain shows. Coulda save myself a $1000 dollars and bought a regular smart tv. Waist of money. Samsung I garbage…
