We bought this tv about a month ago and paired it with a Samsung sound bar (which I would heartily recommend if you want decent sound). We love the tv: beautiful, clear, sharp picture, accessible organization of apps - including one-button access to Netflix and Prime, easy to set up - although I had to call my cable provider to get all my content downloaded again to my cable box. The remote, however, is pretty cheap and I don’t think it will last long. Biggest problem I had: opening the silly remote to install batteries.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

Beautiful TV but user exp/interface lacking, difficult to navigate and there are certain apps that come with the TV such as the gallery but you can only use it if you have a Samsung phone. No ability to use remote control from your phone. Samsung should model Roku’s interface where it’s easy, clear and fast to use. No need to sign in on everything! Other than that, the tv picture is gorgeous and Samsung has some nice features such as additional TV channels.

The remote is very small and simple, however now I takes me longer to find what I am looking for, as I have to use the menus on the TV

Received this model as a warranty exchange and love it! The colours are vivid, the audio is crisp, and there is sufficient backlight. The only drawback is the remote feels a little cheap, but that’s expected given the price point.

We bought this for our home last month and I really enjoy the quality of the television. However, I have barely used it as both my dad and I downloaded the Samsung app and it only lets one of us control the TV at a time and the other user has to then request the TV back and go through the entire process of reconnecting the TV to our phone. It's slow and annoying so I've been back to watching TV on my laptop in my room.

Great image. We don't like the way the TV automatically switches to entertainment on TV each time we switch it on. We tried to change settings, but somehow, they sneakily change back to entertainment. Remote works well, but Mute button is on volume control, not explicitly written on remote.

Picture is excellent, clear transitions when watching. Easy set up and adding apps to the tv function.
