1 Very Disapointing

I bought this TV in April 2020 and by August 2020 I already had a house call for technical support. They changed the LCD screen to a brand new one, however, 2 days later I experienced the flickering again .. Before buying this TV i had read the poor reviews but I wanted to give it a chance as its brand new. BIG mistake. The whole experience was terrible. The technicians that came to my house did NOT wear a mask and they were also very early for the appointment time i set up. I was out and planned my morning so that I would have enough time for me to be back in time for my booked appt. They were very early and i told them they are not supposed to be here, and they said yeah we were running ahead of time. I replied that they could have at least called, and completely disregarded it. I am overall very disappointed.

1 Nothing but aggravation

The picture is great when it works but I’ve spent almost as much time resetting and rebooting this TV as I have watching it. I’ve had my cable box, YouTube and my iPhone screen mirroring all freeze. I’ve owned the TV for a week and I’ve had to reset it every single day so far, some days more than once. I’ve used the self-diagnose tool to check the HDMI cable - it says it’s fine. I’ve quit using wifi and hard-wired my TV to my router. I’ve used the “device care” tool, it says there are no problems. I’ve done the SmartHub connection test, I’ve reset the SmartHub and I’ve unplugged the TV half a dozen times. It still keeps freezing! All I want is to be able to press a button and watch TV. I’ve actually sat down with a plate of dinner and finished my meal before the TV started working. This is the first Samsung product I’ve ever owned and they aren’t making a very good first impression. Seriously thinking about returning it to the store and seeing if I have any more luck with Sony or LG.

1 Mirroring Doest Always Work, Sluggish Navigation

It's a beautiful TV when it works HOWEVER, i would say half of the time when I try to airplay or mirror to the TV, it won't work. Whether it's airplaying my iphone's or macbook's home screen, or airplaying through the youtube app, apple music app, spotify app.. etc. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. For this I tried restoring the TV to factory settings, deleting my wifi network and setting up at again, and even having my wifi provider reset my router, nothing worked. Recently I tried downloading an app onto the tv, I press install, and the status bar doesn't fill up, then the "installing" button turns into "install", again - app not downloaded. One time, I turned the TV one and the resolution was all messed up, with green patches replacing shades in whatever's playing. That i fixed through a TV factory restore, but still an inconvenience nevertheless. Finally, navigating with the arrow keys through the apps on the TV is SO SLOW, like there is a lag, so sometimes you end up pressing the same button twice thinking it didn't pick up the first command then the the selection suddenly jumps 2 spaces and just so not smooth. in summary, so many different issues were present in this TV since day 1, and it's not cheap, so I wouldn't recommend this.

1 Do not buy it

I bought this TU7000 say around 3 months back and after a month i had wifi issue and in 3rd month the screen went off. Terrible experience so far. Samsung support is rude and will not respond to my request to exchange the faulty TV. They sent the technician to fix the issue and he replaced the panel/screen which is most of the tv that was replaced and after replacement i have moisture in the screen which is spreading.

2 Streaming services unwatchable

I received this as a gift and was my first new tv in over 15 years. I can’t tell you how excited I was to watch Netflix and Disney + in 4K. Broadcast tv looks great with some fine tuning, but all Disney plus and Netflix shows are far too dark. night scenes are unwatchable and ruin the experience. I’ve spend days tweaking the picture and there is no solution. A quick google search shows that I’m not the only one with this problem. I’m going to have to buy a chromecast or something so I can watch these shows as intended as the built in apps are awful.

2 OK Tv Poor Support

I've owned many Samsung Products throughout the years and most of them are still function too this day with no problems. This TV became defective after only a few months of use. Warranty could not fix the problem. Samsung's only recourse was that I would be without use of a TV for 6 to 8 weeks.

5 Fantastic TV

I’ve had the TV about a month, and I couldn’t be happier. Great picture and the smart tv is very easy to use with the remote. It was on sale at Best Buy, so I picked it up for $900. Fantastic value, and the best tv I’ve ever had.
