2 Samsung - Frame Art 75" TV .... NOT worth it

Having come from many years as a Plasma TV owner and watcher, the transition to LCD has NOT been enjoyable. I travel often, so I watch hotel TV's, which are always LCD, but even those pictures are better than the Samsung Frame Art TV, my old Plasma TV had a better picture. The processing speed is slow and the automatic room light adjustment is worthless. Often the picture is very washed out, far too light making the show or movie appear as if it was filmed with someones 20 year old video camera. We've adjusted the settings and they NEVER remain. The free artwork that comes with the TV is garbage and looks like garb My wife and I watched numerous Youtube videos on the review of this tv, all I can say is either we ended up with a faulty TV or the reviewers on Youtube are on crack! Thankfully we bought our TV from Costco and it will be going back. The TV is absolutely not worth the extra $$ and not worth some of the hype from our experience. We still like the concept, but the picture and quality is not worth it,

3 Beware of claims

I bought my TV a month ago. Arguably, the artwork display is a nice feature but is it worth the money especially as this is a so so TV picture quality for the money? Also, portrait mode was claimed at the CES2021 and it does have it BUT!!! I found Samsung totally unwilling to help on this feature as discovered many others having the same issues. Even though it is a 4K TV, as soon as you orient the TV into portrait mode, it only becomes a 1280P TV. The very best resolution I have been able to get is 2160 x 1280 pixels as a TV. The artwork will take the full 4K pixel count but it does nothing to improve the artwork past the 1280p limit. Also, I have not been able to remove the border around the picture in portrait mode, it looks to be fixed an just offers 2 different widths for it. Samsung also closed down the Tizen App store at the end of 2021 so don't expect anything more that what is already offered on the TV. All in all, not a happy experience with the TV or with Samsung who has been avoiding the portrait mode issues.

5 Frame TV

It is the prettiest tv I’ve ever seen. It hangs so flush to the wall. The picture is flawless. It was kind of difficult to hook up to the internet but I think that was likely a me problem, and less of a tv problem. I’d 100% recommend; though, the price is pretty steep. I have no complaints as of yet.

1 Only a 1080p TV in portrait orientation

I had to pull teeth to get a response out of Samsung for this but in the end, they say that their supposedly 4K Frame 43" TV is only a 1080p while in portrait position. What gives??? Actually, they are still wrong, the limit is 1280p. The result is that anything even 1 pixel larger will either not play, be limited to 1080p, or only play as a 720p. Why did I pay $1400 for a 1080p TV!!! Samsung was withholding this information. I had to try multiple times using multiple ways before I could get an answer, the usual response being silence. Really, really disappointed with Samsung and their "Dumb" TVs. Worse, they have not been very forthcoming with information. I would never have bought this TV if I knew how poor this TV is compared to claims.

1 Glitches

Since the moment I turned the tv on it has had constant error messages popping up on the screen. Support told me to cycle the power and that helped for a couple days but the problem remains. The error messages are related to a sound sensor fault. Not happy!

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend
